Robert Pattinson- Water for Elephants

"Jacob" also known as Robert Pattinson

Since I have started reading my independent novel and have been wanting to see this movie, I wanted to do some research on the main character in the movie who is played by Robert Pattinson. He was born on May 13, 1986 in London, England. He began acting in school and started to be known for his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Then, he became Edward Cullen in the movie Twilight which then turned him to be every girls new phone screen saver. Also a musician, he contributed songs to the Twilight, soundtrack. Robert then became the main character Jacob in, Water for Elephants, which in the story in the narrator and protagonist.





Above is a video interview from when he was filming Water for Elephants.  Robert is known more for his movie appearance in Twilight more than Water for Elephants even though he isn't the main character in the Twilight Saga. 

He had very mixed reviews for his performance, some people absolutely loved him as Jacob. But others were not as satisfied.  This article by, Hollywood Life, conveys all sides to his performance in Water for Elephants.
